SURFIN FIRE NEWS: Surfin Fire is a recognized contributor in building a stronger community. Our organization is a strong supporter of public and private educational foundations. Every year Surfin Fire contributes to the financial fundraisers of these educational organizations by donating scholarships for surf camp enrollment. Surfin Fire has helped to raise thousands of dollars to assist in supporting child education.
Surfin Fire donates their time to bring a safe day of learning to surf to the T.E.R.I. school in Oceanside. What a valuable community service event for all those who participated!

The 2009 Encinitas Surf Festival:

Dear Sponsors and Participants;
Thank you for your generous support for the 2009 Encinitas Surf Festival. The hosting groups had a very successful turn out for this fun surfing event! Over 130 contestants participated in the event!
We would like to thank the So Cal Firemen Surfing Associates for their assistance in recruiting the 12 Rescue Teams which entered to compete. It was great to see the camaraderie amongst these lifeguards, paramedics, and firefighters who came together to surf it out amongst their colleagues.
Honorably, we would like to mention & pay a special acknowledgement to the core CHS high school kids who demonstrated outstanding leadership in coordinating this event; Rayne Charman, Kyla Peterson, Justin Barr, Austin Ganz, & Trevor Port. These teens did an amazing amount of service by contributing their talents in areas such as; procurement of sponsorship & donations, marketing & advertising of the event, artistic design for promotion materials, coordination of event details, and recruitment of volunteer help! We could not have done it without their assistance!
We would like to extend our gratitude to all the business organizations in the community who contributed to the success of the event by their generous donations. Thank you for your thoughtfulness. We had an spectacular raffle, the winners were stoked on the prizes! Thank you to Pipes Café in Cardiff for your generous donation…our contestants enjoyed their hamburger lunch!
Thank you to all those who made this event possible! Your involvement made this a successful charitable event…the Make A Wish Foundation has received 100% of the profits! We are centered in gratitude!
