Surfin Fire, Inc. provides premier surf instruction at Grandview (North end) Moonlight Beach in Encinitas, South Ponto Beach in Encinitas, and the Oceanside Pier.
We provide private surf lessons, run seasonal summer surf camps, competitive surf camps, ongoing summer surf clinics, provide hotel services, and book group & corporate events.
We are currently seeking applicants for the 2024 summer season. We are looking to interview potential candidates who are high school or college aged and older. If you have lifeguard experience, experience working with kids, or just enjoy the sport of surfing and you are looking for a seasonal summer work job, this could be the “perfect match”. We are filling positions for clinic instructors, surf camp assistants, private lesson instructors, and Oceanside Pier surf instruction team.
Our daily beach hours 8AM-4PM. We are looking for full-time & part-time instructors with a flexible schedule. We are also seeking instructors who teach through the spring season and can begin immediately.
All instructors must hold certification in basic first aid & CPR (lifeguarding experience, and firefighter academy or paramedic school is a plus).
To be a part of Surfin Fire’s instructional staff you must be an energetic, physically fit, self-motivator, with good communication & people skills. You must enjoy working with all ages (adult-kids).
We do offer a 1st Aid Training & CPR certification for candidates who may require a renewal or are looking for first time certification.
